Help
Step back for a minute and take a deep breath. Maybe grab something to drink. This is going to take a minute.
Then, pick a side and slowly feel your way though it untill you find the end/tail. Once you find it, slowly begin to detangle it, pulling it through and under loops. It may seem like you are making it worse at times. But if you kep going, it will slowly start to resolve itself.
Don’t be afraid to take breaks, and maybe ask someone ele to hold the yarn as it starts to become too long. Do not wind it back up until it is fully detangled - I am warning you now! I have done that before and it is not pretty.
You can do this!
oof tough. I sat for an hour in my chair trying to detangle some yarn so I could wind it. It was PAINFUL!!!
but this doesn’t look too too bad( not saying it wont be hard just saying it could be worse(maybe)…)
I did it it was sssoooooo fun (sarcasm)
I mean it’s not that bad mines way worse
lol
I just untangled a BIG ol’ mess of black/variegated and ended up with 4 balls of different sizes and several smaller “scraps” that ill prob use for sewing when needed.. spent prob 6 hrs over 2 days trying to get it undone..
@firestary0 what did you do to those poor yarns
Ask my sister, @MiaowCrochet
Ive actually got a couple of grocery bags full like that lol.. i just needed that particular yarn for a specific project..
Nahhh thats nothing, i got an ENTIRE box full of tangled yarn AND different scattered crochet tools. I cant even find the box rn thoughhh i will be back in a week trust i will tag you @Firestary0 js so you can see
At least it is thick yarn
Thin yarn is way more difficult to detangle
