My dad has surgery on Tuesday next week and I want to crochet him something.
He’s a little prickly, but super sweet. And I love him so much. I just don’t know what to make! Suggestions would be so greatly appreciated!

A dragon fruit or lychee would be good if you think a cactus is too basic. (No offense person who suggested it!><)
Also maybe a plush balloon or crocheted card with a personalized note on it.
Other ideas if you want something not a plush:
Crochet watch (if he likes watches)
Fidget (if he wants or needs them) I have some available in my shop Yarnin’ For More

Maybe you could do a basket with like a crocheted animal (ex. Flamingo) inside of it with a cute card or note

There are also some medical crochet patterns out there like an IV pole or stethoscope or crutches
