it’s where 2 people trade a pattern, one person gives them a pattern and the other ones gives them one they like :)

It’s basically where you give someone a pattern (usually paid) and they give you a pattern back (usually paid).

usually it’s a paid pattern for a paid pattern, for example, if i wanted one of your paid patterns like the sprout hamster i would trade one of mine (…if i had patterns lol)

Can you gift people patterns if they are not from your shop?

no, but i’m pretty sure there was a day where you could pay for a pattern and send it to someone else (like you couldn’t get it and they would instead)

Cuz like I get a bunch of free ones in a bundle and don’t want some so it would be fun to gift ppl free patterns

well, you can’t gift patterns if they’re already in your stuff since you might have taken pics, etc. also, ppl can’t gift free patterns bc then you might use it to bypass the 5 pattern limit rule.
