but let’s be real for a sec

Sometimes a stitch marker vanishes into another dimension then im looking for anything that might work.

ive seen ppl use paper clips, earrings, safety pins, scraps of yarn… but I’ve always wondered… what else could work?

Mostly natural items, like if I’m crocheting outside and forget a stitch marker I use grass, dead leaves, sticks, chicken feathers, cowfence wire, and chicken wire. XD

Mm let’s see.. I used Bobby pins one used it to try and know where my stitches are using fluffy yarn mm once without a stitch marker and trying to use my brain that backfired yea nothing very “chaotic” yet nothing I can think of at least

Ironically I think I never used anything other than a regular stitch marker. Probably, if anything, I used before I owned them was little scraps of yarn.

A bag strap. you know like when you have a purse with a clip on and off strap, i used one that i have for my yarn bag and the clip is HUGE
