What is the right stitch?

I’m currently making a mini skirt and I’m confused on where to make the stitches.

She said to Dc2 into the HDC on the side. But I have no idea what st the hdc st is?

If you can it’d help alot if you could draw a line to the st:sob::pray:

I just happen to have a hdc strip from a cardigan I’m making so I can show you.

Hope this helps!

Yesss I’m doing the skirt part now not the waistband. I’m done with the waistband

So from the side?? Idk how to explain it :pensive:

Yeah, I think you just ch 1 and turn, and crochet on the other side creating the skirt part. What pattern are you using?

Ohh nice, yeah looks like you just do dc on the side to create the skirt portion.

Ohh I gatcha

Looks like you can just go into where ever you want (trying to go into every st you can) , cuz rows like this don’t have completely formed sts. And if you did need to go into a specific stitch I’m sure the pattern maker would tell you.

Yeah what @PickledSweet said, it doesn’t really matter where, just as long as u have the right stitch count

I made a sweater that referred to this. Make 2dc on each side of the hdc

If it says to do 2dc for each hdc, keep counting to make sure you haven’t skipped any hdc.
