what is tunisian?

i’ve heard about like tunisian but like, does anyone know how it’s like different from crochet? is it like a bit easier, harder… thanks!

It isn’t easier or harder, it’s just different like knitting.
It creates a different fabric than knitting or crochet.
Explaining what it is and how it differs would be easier to look up on YouTube

It’s different the regular stitch looks like knit but once you get the hang of it it’s not bad. Not easier or harder per say.

Tunisian is my link between knitting and crochet. A little of both, but a craft in it’s own right.

The Afghan stitch (basic stitch for Tunisian) creates the look of a woven piece and can been used as a background for cross-stitch designs.

Most, but not all, Tunisian is worked at the front of the fabric. No turning. Therefore, some find it easier on the arms and wrists.

It can be considerably thicker than knitting and crochet making it an excellent choice for blankets.
