So spill the yarn tea what are some crafting red flags you avoid OR what are some red flags you totally do yourself?

I always way over buy the yarn I use because I always fear I will run out in the middle of the project and it will be discontinued by the manufacturer before I can buy more

Never weaving in my ends (I just knot them and call it good) and not carrying my yarn tails in color changing.
