As I was crocheting I wondered what kind of stuffing people use. I personally just get a pillow from the dollar store and tear it apart but I know not all people do that.

i also got a bigass cat plush (130 cm tall) with a zipper on the back and use that for stuffing/stuffing storage. i can hide my yarn scraps and ripped up pillow stuffings insife, and it’s not very noticable if it’s fuller or emptier depending on how much i’ve been crafting. definitely recommend, he sits pretty on my sofa :D
That sounds like a great way to store stuffing
I have a 10 pound box of polyfill so I don’t think I’m gonna run out anytime soon 
I also feel like it’s not more expansive then other stuffing
