I want to make so many things like plushies crochet cases and sleeves but which one should I do there is so much to learn from.
I recommend starting with something small like granny squares, maybe coasters; then work into plushies, small at first and no sew, and work your way up! :hugs
I agree! Start out with a plain coaster with maybe some color changes then work your way up! My very first plushie was a octopus by crochetbygenna
Start small and work your way up.
First thing I ever made was a worm to learn how to work in rounds and how to do really basic single crochet, then I made a bee to learn how color changes work, after that I just kind of made simple small plushies like totoro, ghosts, frogs, etc. until I felt comfortable moving on to things with more parts like a spider.
After I got used to the basics on how amigurumi works and how to read patterns I started doing simple testers which really helped because if youβre confused on part of a pattern (even if there is nothing wrong with the pattern itself) youβre in a group that can help explain how that part of the pattern works. For me doing the testers alone helped me understand shape language so much that I can more or less look at most things and figure out how they are done now, and Iβve only been crocheting for a year and a half.
