For some context, my older sister is leaving for college in 39 days she wants me to make her a blanket, if I did it’d have to be in worsted weight yarn. She’s wanting it to be bigger too, I was wondering there was any stitches that don’t take up a bunch of yarn and work up fast. I appreciate any and all help!

unless she wants a rectangular one, i suggest the 6 day star blanket (never done it myself but plan to and many others have) if she wants rectangular, then double is probably the fastest basic stitch

for a regular blanket, i think a double crochet would work up fastest

I’ve been wanting to do that, I’d have to see if she’d like it or not before I do it

C2C, granny stitch, granny squares, and this https://pin.it/3QIlafXu9 should work up pretty quick
