I’m wondering what projects are on your hooks/needles that have surprised you?
For me, I’m currently making/designing a crochet backpack modeled after Optimus Prime! My boyfriend and I are attending a fan con in July where we are meeting Peter Cullen, the voice actor for Optimus! I need a bag for when I go, and instead of using one I currently have or buying a new one, I decided to make an Optimus bag!
I’m currently working on my first pattern!

I followed a pattern for a double crochet all day shawl from a blog called Nana’s crafty home. My wife loved it!! It’s very warm.
