hi there folks! as you can probably gauge from my more recent posts, I’ve been really into making wearables and blankets lately. that being said, i now have the majority of a 10 pound box of polyfil sitting in my room. I’ve been cleaning up lately and it’s just really in the way. i hardly ever make amigurumi anymore, so what should i do with it? as i stated, I’d rather not have to make amigurumi, but i am open to all suggestions. thank you!
You could always donate it to a craft store that does activities with kids. Im sure they could put it to good use, or maybe to a 1st grade class.
g-give it to me /j
haha, you could always sell it on marketplace or give it to a crocheter friend :D
every time I’ve tried to sell on marketplace, only scammers respond
Since you like flatter things you can make two panels and stuff them to make a pillow so you are doing what you like and getting something useful out of it
oh noo
my mom has always had a good experience selling on there
Pillows and bulky blankets and jackets. Theyre relatively easy to make and frequently used
I have a family member that can get me a giant bag of polyfill that you put in couches for like $10. So I bought a bean bag to stuff it all in maybe you can find a cheap beanbag cover on amazon or something.
If you want to keep it for the future you could vacuum seal it! I did it for travelling home from college and they store really well like that!
You could make a pillow! If you are I would recommend seeing a pillow shape with fabric then stuff that and use the crocheted but as a cover
You can give it to me! :]
Jk
Vacuum sealer bag. Works great. I usually do this to half of the big bags i get. Then its easy to store..
Ik it’s similar but you could make a pillow !
I seem to remember some kind of bubble or puff blanket …
Wow. I just did a search and now I want to make one.
A cat sofa
A pillow would be nice to make with the blankets that you do
Pillows are cool . Especially if you can find one with a neat pattern design you like.
You could try making a quilt? Or pillow? Or give it to someone who just started crochet. Also i think some thrift stores take yarn, so maybe they also take polyfil? I’m not sure. Good luck!
