What to do?🗝️

What does it mean to:

Post FtB sc all (12)

Idk what FtB means or how to do it. When I tried, I got the wrong stitch count, although all of the stitches and count was right before this.

FtB is not a standard crochet abbreviation so there would need to be an explanation in the notes of the pattern or in the abbreviation section if it is a pdf.

My best guess is FtB means front to back so post front to back sc. Maybe they mean fpsc which is front post single crochet.

Is there a photo of the part you are doing? Or can you link the pattern you are working on if it is free?

You can also reach out to the designer to ask

Tysm for helping but I already figured it out:grin:. I do need help with sewing eyes on. I have made the jaws but idk how to do the rest. The first pic is the pattern and the second the eyes. I don’t have a pic for the jaws but I do have them.

My guess would be that Ft stands for “front”, combined with “Post”. It sounds like they are asking you to crochet into the front posts only.

But even then, it’s backwards and would have the “front” part first followed by the " post part.

The “sc” is definitely " single crochet".

No idea about the B part.

But also Ribblr does have both a place to look up all abbreviations. AND, if you found that term in a Ribblr pattern. You can just click on it and it’ll show you an example of someone doing that stitch.
