What was I doing again?

Does anyone else have this? Looking for red yarn, oh there it is. Wait, what’s on the end of it? I don’t even remember doing this or what it’s supposed to be, no mention to hook size.
Project I put down and just forgot completely what I was making. Oops. Must keep better notes. Anyone else have this problem or is it just my ADHD rearing it’s ugly head?

Oh, I do this all the time! Generally a project is far enough along to identify what it is but sometimes I have no clue. :woman_facepalming:

That is me too! I’ve had to undo so many projects because of that.

I’ve had this a couple times… I’ve also had “oh yeah I really wanted to make that too… Oops, wonder why I quit” usually that one is followed by “why was I so excited to make that anyway” or “do I still want to complete it? Or abandon it?” If I still want to complete, it usually ends up going right back where it was to be forgotten again :woman_facepalming:t3::rofl:

Yes lol! I suffer with it when it comes to the hook size so I recently write it down and go into detail lol

It’s me too, but I also have ADHD so that’s not much help

I haven’t done this yet, but I just went to an estate sale the other day and the lady crocheted and had a lot of yarn and a few of them were like this :joy:

Uh, I have two single fingerless mitts in different colors and patterns that I need to make mates for. That’ll be a fun guess! My husband asked me recently how many projects I had going. I thought 2 or 3. Maybe 7!

Hahaha usually I have a random pattern printed and wrapped around the yarn and unfinished project too :joy::rofl: so then I have to ask myself if I put it away and didn’t finish it should I just frog it all and make something else? :joy:

Frequently. Or you know what it was and have totally forgotten where you were on it. In both cases, it’s time to frog! I know i have too many of these when i start running low in stitch markers! Hahahaha!

I do this all the time.
I also have written some patterns with notes as to what the pattern is meant to be so I’ll need to follow my pattern to discover whatvit was :sweat_smile:

Omg yessss! All the time!

This happens to me a lot my memory is kinda bad. I usually forget about a project then start something new then find it again and undo it because I have no idea what I was crocheting. (And I remember the project after unraveling it) but I also have Adhd so I don’t know how much help this was lol-
