What was the first pattern you tested?

So as we wrap up 2024, I started thinking about my accomplishments last year. My biggest accomplishments involved crochet. Not only did I grow as a designer and as a crocheter in general, but I also discovered this amazing crafting community. I joined this summer, and one of my first interactions on here was testing an octopus pattern, my first pattern test. Honestly, there was nothing like the excitement I felt when I saw that I had been accepted for a test, especially since I had 0 karma and was new to how the community worked. I just thought it would be nice to express our appreciation for the people who took the risk of letting their pattern be our first test. I’ll never forget how grateful I was, and I always try to accept 0 karma testers and give them a chance because I always remember the joy I felt when accepted for the first time. This being said, thank you so much @KaylaDvs for accepting me as a tester, you have no idea how much it means. This is a pic of what I tested by the way:

What was your first pattern test and who accepted you? Let’s show our appreciation for the amazing designers on ribblr and share our biggest achievements.

My first pattern test was for @PurpleXLeaves and on New Year’s I finished another pattern test for her. Just wanna say: Thank you so much! With that pattern test, I understood how Ribblr and testing works. It was an incredible joy, when I got choosen, I just couldn’t be more excited. I’ll post the finished project in next reply.
