Today and part of yesterday I was working on my friend’s Christmas and late birthday gift, OMG IT WAS THE BIGGEST PAIN EVER! I had different sized yarn and it was just a pain in general. I need to hear y’all’s stories about your toughest crochet creations.
What are your thoughts on the mouth?

Once it was like two am and i decided to crochet a hegehog the pattern i choose had a max of 54 stiches and it lookd so cute. The problem was all the brown part of the body was in blo and for the spikes you had to ss chain two in every stich, i could never bring myself to finish it and it is currently sat in one of two boxes of things I’ve started and probably will never finish. Lol
I dont know if this counts its more just a funny story
When i was a fairly new crocheter maybe early 2021 i was eleven and decided to crochet a plush for my older sisters birthday. (Looking back ay it is a monstrosity lol) i had never made any thing using blanket yarn before so i didn’t know what i was buying so i just got the first thing i saw on amazon that was under £10. It was this brand called jelly bean and it just kept shedding everywhere it wasnt helped by the fact that i was a beginner and had to keep undoing my work so i kept putting it of. Cut to it being the day before her birthday it was a weekend so she was home so i had to spend all day crocheting it. My hands where also really sweaty cos it was a heatwave and i had to be in my room so she wouldn’t see. Looking back at it its really really bad i didn’t sew it right i couldn’t get any Orange yarn (the colour of the character i was making) i didnt know which side of the crochet was the right side so its inside out.
