What's your pricing method?

I was wondering how you price your items…Is there a way or just whatever works best? Typically I sell amigurumi and winter wear/accessories.

Oh wow. What if it’s less than an hour? Should I just divide it up?

That’s a bummer.

I charge roughly 10 bucks/hour + materials and just divide it up.

How do you know how much materials you used, and how would price the materiels?

I honestly just guess but most of my yarn skeins r 5-10 bucks and i dont use much of it so i might add a few extra dollars on

Haha I guess too

If you weigh the ball of yarn before (only necessary if it’s partially used) and after the project, you can calculate how much you’ve used (each ball also provides the starting weight on the label).
E.g.
A ball of yarn is 50g and cost $6.00
6 divided by 50 = 0.12 cents per gram.
If the ball weighs 30g after the project is made, 50 - 30 = 20 grams of yarn were used.
20 x 0.12 = 2.4, so the amount spent on the yarn used is $2.40.

You would also need to take into account things like the cost of safety eyes as well.
