Where do you buy your yarn?

I was wondering where everyone buys their yarn? Also what do you normally buy or what tips do you have for buying yarn? I personally buy mine from Hobby Lobby and just hope that it’s the 30% off week.

I usually get my yarn from either Walmart orrr hobby lobby, and usually i use acrylic yarn and at hobby lobby there are really big skeins of acrylic yarn that are like $12.00 a skein but it has a lot in it and it last a long time (for me anyways)

Also if you go to hobby lobby’s website, they usually have a page where all their discounts are, so yeah :heartpulse:

It depends on what kind of project I need it for.

I do use higher end yarns on occasion. For those I order online from Jimmy Beans Wool. I do have one local yarn store, Fillory Yarns.

So far my local Joann’s is not on the to be closed list. And my area has at least three Walmarts and a couple Michaels I can check for regular yarns.

Replying to myself to add, we may be getting a new Hobby Lobby. (Actually it appears to already be open) The closest other one already open is about 20 miles south

Hobby Lobby! At my location, they switch the 30% sale between fabric and yarn every week. So one week yarn goes on sale, the next fabric does. It is most likely the same at your store, but so would ask so you can always get the 30% off.

I always get mine from Hobby Lobby. I have also been using this webite that has really good deals. It’s called Herrschners.

Sometimes Micheals but they’re too expensive for me. My Joan’s only sells fabric.

Wherever. Yarn easy to come by ATM. Market but quality not always suitable for smaller needles. Pound shops. I’m beginner so am not stocking up on the best yarn yet. I like using cotton yarn even though not recommended for newbies. I think it’s easier to work with
