I have been wanting to make some microvelvet amigurumi for a while now, but I can’t seem to find any good brands with a good color variety.
I would appreciate any help finding some, preferably on Amazon or Etsy, but I could do other sites.

Mine are bernat. I’m not quite sure if they’re “micro”, but they’re smaller than worsted Totally didn’t read that as microwavable yarn

I’ve been getting Michael’s petite posh purl by loops & threads. Works well with a 3mm hook for me :)

I use bernat velvet and also mainstays from Walmart, it’s soft and only $8.99 (I think) so both work for me. Bernat is just a more popular choice, if you want even smaller velvet, there’s even bernat velvet yarn!

It’s for crochet hooks 2.0mm-2.5mm

Not gonna lie I thought you were asking where we microwave out yarn.-. a side fact to know I’m severely dyslexic lol

At first glance, i thought the title said “How do you microwave your yarn?” And i was like, “wait, :face_with_raised_eyebrow::flushed_face: what?” :joy:

The bernat velvet uses a 5mm hook also mainstays, but baby velvet bernat I use 4.5

If you want SUPER SUPER tiny velvet, try Ricorumi Nilli Nilli! I use a 2mm hook with it, thats how small it is.

I got some tiny chenille yarn from Joann’s, I’m not sure which brand it was because the label was nonexistent. I also use Bernat Baby Velvet. For a sec I thought you asked where people usually get their microwaves help :sob:

I get mine from temu.. they have deals on sets every once in a while and i’ll normally grab them.. sure I have to wait a few weeks but its worth it to me since the yarn is easy on my hands with how it slides nicely on the hook. the only down fall is how it can shed.
