Joann’s will have small packs (sometimes only a pair per bag) of safety eyes. That’s the only physical store I know of that sells them, although Hobby Lobby may as well.

I know you wouldn’t prefer it but I recommend Amazon, it’s got better variety of sizes and colors.

Hobbii (it’s a yarn store and they sell safety eyes)

You may want to call ahead to see if they have any. At mine they are often out of them, and they have very limited options when they are in stock.

Most amazon ones fail uk/eu safety tests so I’d actually advise avoiding.

Unfortunately if you live remotely (not sure which country, you didnt say) options do become limited.

When you refuse to buy online because it takes too long, its helpful to narrow down region. I can tell you to go to hobbycraft but if there’s none on your continent it’s pointless.

Most of the safety eyes at my local craft stores are not that great, cost more and the backs on them are not any better than the ones you order from Amazon. You definitely want the eyes with the white backs vs the grey ones, the white ones are sturdier.
