Hey y’all, I’m just curious what everyone prefers when making a pattern and adding eyes. For me I’d rather use safety eyes over embroidering. What do you guys think is cuter?

I have only done safety eyes. But I think embroidery eyes look cute, when done right.

Personally I really dislike the look of felt on crochet. I think it clashes against yarn and just… yeah, not good.

For me felt is barely ever an option, because I’m allergic to most glue and I can use it without need an epi-pen and steroids so I don’t unalive myself adding the eyes, so I got safty/sinkersaftey eyes and embroidery all the way, occasionally I will crochet eyes in place of felt when needed because then I can avoid needing glue

I personally like felt for certain projects. If the project is something I know will be sitting on my desk/shelf/etc. I love doing much more detailed eyes, and thus felt is a really nice touch.
However, I also love the simplicity of safety eyes. They are frankly just adorable.

I prefer safety eyes as they are pretty easy to attach, but felt are more customizable and can look really cute if you have the patience for it!

Embroidered eyes are really cute, but umm I’m lazy and I love the shine from safety eyes so, Safety eyes!
