Hello
Ribblr wouldn’t take down a pattern unless they find it to be a copy or violating any rights. If I’m not mistaken, Scarlet was told by another designer (via IG) to take it down due to being the same concept as her patterns.
Hope this helps!

id say pastries since there are so many of them to be made…get the large number out of the way so you can relax some with the smaller sets

Hi! Yeah, my situation was due to another designer who came out with a similar concept like 2? years ago and they did not like that my patterns look similar. I did not use this other designer as a reference or inspiration as I didn’t even now they existed. Technically there was nothing wrong with my pattern as it was not a copy nor did it violate any copyright laws (from my understanding). I asked ribblr to remove my tester call because the stress I was being put through was not worth it for me.
But I do think that this should probably be approached with caution because these plushies are designs owned by jellycat and they could have legal grounds to stop the sales. So be inspired but I would advise from making a one to one copy.
