I had a break from ribblr for a couple months and I just came back. In my time away I got really into designing cut out moth tapestries all of which I want to get out in a pattern form. Currently my garden tiger moth is in testing but once that’s done I have seven other moths , an eighth in the works as well as two snails. I am making this post to seewhat you are most interested in so I can release those patterns quicker below is a photo of the moths as well as a poll so you can vote on your favourite.Thank you so much for your time and help
Ok first of all these are beautiful and you’re an amazing designer, second it’s so hard to decide cuz the Luna moth is really pretty but I’m also really into snails
Thank you so much ! When I was designing I tried to make moths that I think are beautiful and not appreciated enough but I just couldn’t pass the luna moth they are popular for a reason! I also love snails and they are not nearly loved as myluch as they should be!
WOW, these are all so incredible! I had a hard time picking a favorite lol, I know you said the box moth isnt the best but I think it might be my favorite! These are not something I ever would’ve thought to make but if I ever have time, if you post tester calls, I will 100% make some!
They are cut out tapestries! It is just like a regular tapestry crochet but instead of just working back and forth in straight lines you Inc and dec on the edges to get a different shape !
Thank you so much ! The emperor moth was… a challenge to put it lightly. It is the biggest out out of all of them and was buy far the longest to make, in both designing and crocheting. For a lot of the rows there are 13 colours attached and you change every two or so stitches ! I think it is definitely worth it though!
