Has anyone else had when creating a new pattern on ribblr when they go to put what the color of yarn will be used for it says the color name has been changed because it is reserved? I ask because I am trying to list a color for a turtle shell and just list it as shell and it keeps changing it to SHELL_ .

Shell is used for shell stitch so it may be the reason you can’t use shell. The system already has it programmed to the stitch video

Ok I guess I will have to figure out a way to word it.

I generally just use letters for the color names and then put the color I used and what for in the color description. Then in the pattern you would write “color A” which would be highlighted. You could also put “tshell” for turtle shell or something like that.
