Make sure you tell you teacher you appreciate her. It’s teacher appreciation week. My kids stopped me before I drove them to dance today and said , “he mom I appreciate you” very creepy in unison on purpose. I asked them what they wanted and they said nothing it’s teacher appreciation week. :skull::wilted_flower::sob:

They are great. Homeschool life.

My 10 yr old son takes ballet, tap, and jazz.
My 12 and 17 yr old girls take ballet, jazz, pointe, contemporary, and lyrical.
My 12yr old also TAs 2 ballet and tap classes.
My 14yr old son used to take jazz and tap but he stopped and now he just steps in whenever partner work is needed. Like last year he needed to do a small waltz part and some lifts so he stepped in.

 they keep us busy. We all do karate year round because we run a karate dojo. In the fall the 10, 12, and 14 play soccer too. They don’t know how to not be active. The school year is actually mellow compared to the summer. They all have it in their heads that school is out means more free time to do fun stuff. It gets busy then. Less dance. Just one ballet class and one karate class.

You are obviously committed given your dedication to working on Kinger. That work is incredible. You just have different interests and different dedications. I can’t get them to sit still with a hook long enough to make something longer than chain 15 or 20. They do a single assignment in 3 or 4 different locations. Lol
We all have our things. They just won’t sit still. I have active things, but due to a disability I also have my more still things as well.
I used to be a runner and run at least a 5k day and have my personal strength and cardio work out in the morning, teach school during the day and I teach my karate classes in the evening on non dance days.
Then I was injured on top of a childhood injury and autoimmune issues popped up and things had to change. They get their activeness honestly. My husband is active too. He is a gamer too and they all game too. I try. I think I am the comedic relief.
I love to paint, crochet, sculpt, and carve too so I am so thankful for having other interests when my body said to let everyone else be crazy active. Time for me to sit on the side lines a bit more. I’m too young for that, but I still have to. Now I am committed to my craft like you are committed to your craft and my kids are committed to acting like they aren’t medicated for their ADHD. Lol
