Done in order of the requests for this prompt I allowed the frog chaos to take over! The hardest one to find was something for the sea that said frog to me. Sea slug?.. No too slow… Turtle? Faster but not jumpy enough. Jellyfish? Even closer but I want it to be more Mobile… Ah yes! And octopus. They’re able to “jump” while in the water and are quick and slippery when they need to be. There are also wildly intelligent. Octopus are now my sea frogs… I may make those headphone covers soon since my daughter needs headphones in school again this year. :purple_heart::green_heart:

These are my chosen patterns! :crossed_fingers:t2: The story is that I love amigurumi, Sanrio, and cottagecore! The plushies are all so cute, and the granny square and headband would look lovely paired with the corset top. The lily of the valley decorations would be adorable in a craft room with all these amigurumi on display too. :purple_heart: I had so much fun doing this challenge ! :heart_hands:t2::rose:

Ok here goes. One day while waiting for her pies :pie:to cool, Flower was thinking this is going to be the death :skull: of me if I keep just sitting here. So she fed her pet frog :frog:, watered her sunflowers :sunflower:, threw on her favorite granny square vest :safety_vest: and an apple :red_apple: into her tote bag :shopping: and went down to the beach for a walk. As she got closer to the water, the wind kicked up and she started to shiver. She wished she had brought her shrug :coat: and gloves :gloves:with her. At that moment someone yelled " Watch out!" She had almost stepped on a jellyfish :jellyfish:! Flower hurried home thinking maybe it would have been safer staying home and working on that new crochet :yarn:project she had saved onRibblr.

Here’s mine!

My story:

Mr. Grape (Purple) slouched in his rocking chair on the porch, grumpy as usual. He squinted at the magazine in his hands. “The Split Summer Top Is On Sale!” it said (Top). With a sigh, he dropped the magazine and stared across the street. Halloween decorations had completely taken over his neighbor’s house, and a tiny frog with a scarf (Frog) hopped onto his neighbor’s porch, staring right at him. How weird, he thought. Well, I shouldn’t be surprised.

His gaze shifted to another neighbor riding a horse dressed as an octopus. Yeah… this town is definitely weird.

He shuffled into his house and froze. On the counter sat a basket labeled “Thank You.” Curious, he picked it up. Inside were candy corn (something yummy), spatulas, pans, whisks—basically a full kitchen supply store. How very odd, he muttered. I didn’t do anything to help anyone today… or this month.

He lifted the card taped to the basket. The words read:

“Dear Mr. Grape,
Thank you for all you have done to help me.
Kindly,…”

The last word was smudged, so he had no idea who it was from. I wonder who gave this to me, he murmured. He set the card down and snagged a piece of candy corn. Munching it, he returned to his rocking chair and peeked over at the Halloween chaos next door: a ghost (something spooky), a spider tangled in a web, a bat, and way too many decorations to bother naming.

A girl passed by in a bathing suit, her mom wearing a plain white shirt and granny square shorts (a beach essential). Mr. Grape assumed they were headed to the beach. A bit later, he spotted a little girl and boy watching a video about crocheting a study buddy for pencils (back to school vibes). Once they were out of sight, a teen girl, maybe 13 or 14, was watching how to crochet a Sunburst Granny Square (granny square). Crochet is in fashion, I guess, he thought. She had a little backpack with a dolphin keychain (a sea creature) swinging from it.

Feeling inspired (and maybe a little hungry), Mr. Grape went inside for lunch. Then a wild idea hit him—he wanted to learn how to crochet too. He dashed to Hobby Lobby and loaded up: yarn, a darning needle, a crochet hook, stitch markers, and safety eyes. On the way back, a book caught his eye: Learn How To Crochet! On the cover sat a crochet flower pillow (something for the home). He flipped through it, grinning, and bought it on the spot.

Back home, Mr. Grape sat down, yarn in hand, ready to learn. And that’s how he discovered the joy of crochet. The end.

That’s my story! I think I overdid it, but it was fun to write.

Okay so heres the story: Ribbot (something purple) got dressed up in their tea sweater (a top) to go see their fancy friend Jerry!(a frog) together they went to have a mini dessert (something sweet) but were interupted by two spooky ghosts(something scary) haunting the ice cream shop! They were scary at first but became much nicer when Ribbot shared their dessert with them. Ribbot, Jerry and the two ghosts got ready to continue their plan for the day with their new friends and put on their fruity hats (beach essential) to keep the sun out of their eyes. On their walk they were buzzed and bothered by a pencil bee! (Back to school) So at least it wouldnt sting them. Ribbot thought about it and chose to bring along their granny square bag (granny square) to gather nice shells from the beach. While out gathering shells with their new friends Ribbot found a tiny turtle(sea creature) and decided to help the little friend back into the water. After a long days adventure with new friends they all sat down to take a break, where Ribbot revealed a nice cake they had Brought from their pond home (something from home) to share with their new friends, to remember all the fun they had before it was time to go home. The End.
