WIP- help me decide what I should do with this bear

Hey everyone! I’m working on another pattern, this time a Teddy bear. The idea is that I want to make a couple different animals, all in different outfits, with interchangeable clothes. For this one, I made him a cardigan and a scarf and I think he looks pretty just with those, but I was wondering if he needs pants. Do you think I should give him some pants? Also, are there any other pueces of clothing that you think would fit him? The theme is autumn and generally cold weather.
I also was considering making him a hat, that would have 2 holes to fit his ears through, but I gave up because then the hat wouldn’t fit another animal that I might make in the future. The next animal that I’ll be making will probably be a fawn, and I want to make an elephant as well, I would also release patterns just for the pieces of clothing, so I want them to be pretty universal and one size fits all kind of thing.

Hey!
I don’t think you need to make him pants. I love his cardigan and scarf.
And for his body you have crocheted a shirt and shorts on to him. I think that is perfect.

Because if you are planning on making a series of animals with different clothing items that are interchangeable, one of the other animals you make might have pants, so then when people make the set, if they want to dress the bear up in pants they use the ones from the other animal… am I making sense?

I think with each animal you should make 2 items of clothing each. So with the bear you have cardian and scarf. With the next animal you might do long pants and a hat, the next a dress and boots etc.

And that way you have a full waredrobe by the end that you can swap around the animals and share.

I see you said you were thinking of making him a hat, but because of ear holes you wouldnt be able to put it on the other animals. Well what if you didn’t put ear holes and instead make a bucket hat that can just sit on his head, covering the ears. And maybe even have a strap on both sides of the hat they you can tie under his chin?

E.g.

Excuse the terrible drawing
