Hope your motivation and energy return (when you want it)
Loving all of these wips! Thanks for sharing y’all
I still haven’t asked if I can share my test, so I’ll show the little progress I’ve made on the toddler’s cardigan…
Does untangling a knotted skein count as a wip?
I currently am working on three pattern tests, two of which you can see here (one out of focus in background and one in foreground) that have been keeping me busy lately:
Here’s a more detailed shot of the star granny squares from that stack:
Wonderful progress on that Psyduck! And that sock yarn is fabulous!
Lucky toddler! How stinkin’ cute!!!
Well several years ago my birthday fell on a Wednesday and I was streaming on Twitch so I had planned a big “new project for my birthday” stream, but I always did WIPWednesday on my stream… Unfortunately the entire stream was me detangling my yarn as I was trying to wind it into a cake before starting … All of that to say: apparently detangling is 100% a WIP haha
Thanks! I’m working in the pattern for 2-12yrs… No clue how long before it’s actually published haha
Today my two wips are a corgi and a lamb baby blanket thing (pictures of my progress and what the finished product should look like below)
Oh no. I’m positive it was fun anyway (well maybe not the actual detangling) and certainly relatable; at the very least you have set the precedent for us on whether it counts as a wip. It can take as long (or longer) than actual projects and since it’s sometimes the prephase of a project, I think surely it counts LOL
Also, your time and commitment to the pattern really do show, so I say continue to take all the time you need with it, but it really is lovely!
That lamb baby blanket!!! Such great texture - excited to see how it turns out, looks like you’ve made quite a dent in it already!
Need to sew in legs and tail of cow and making a bucket hat
cow pattern :@cherriesbyjess
And i free handed the bucket hat<3
Yeah! I was so surprised that it was only bobble stitches and single crochets that created the texture!
Thank you!! Yes I love this sock yarn! It’s from a small indie dyer (Potions and Purls) and it’s so soft and Lucious! I find making socks really relaxing so it’s a perfect project for when I need a break from everything else.
Cute!!
That cow is cute! Great job on the hat! And welcome to ribblr!!
So cute!!
