Today was a sad day…. While I am so enthusiastic about this vintage pattern round doily I’m working on I had to frog 12 rows. I’m so devastated 
. Some of these rounds are a bit confusing is there anyone who is good with reading the older patterns if I need help I can message to see if we can discern what they mean? I’m pretty good with intermediate patterns but this one’s got me.

That really sucks! I might be able to help, I do have some really old like 70+ year old patterns from my great grandma. She does a lot of doilys.

My wip isnt especially exciting at the moment, but a swatch is definitely necessary so here I am, getting ready to tackle a beautiful knit cardigan!

I am working on getting at least a few rows done until I get back closer to the rows. I was at round 25/26 and frogged back to the start of round 13…… So If I get stuck I’ll message you little creatures. The pattern I believe is from the 80’s but it could even be earlier then that not sure. I’m determined to figure out though even if I need help. Normally I do it myself but this has me all in stitches haha

@crocreate has a pattern I found through her insta and I’m working on it and it is so nice! I have never done a different granny square before and it’s coming out so nicely. I fudged around on some of the outer “layers” I think I’m going to make a little throw pillow cover with it!
