It’s WIP Wednesday!
I’ve been a little hyper-fixated on my son’s sweater that I stopped working on mine (again:roll_eyes:). So for WIPWednesday , I’ve decided to work on my sweater. Hopefully, it’ll still fit whenever I finish it, haha!
I also think I’m going to cut off the top ribbing and rework it (it’ll be my first time cutting my knitting:flushed:)

Yarn: Woolike leftovers in 20g sections
Pattern: Since I lost my copy of the pattern and have never had a mini skein advent, it’ll be based on Gingy Knits advent mkal 2020
Needles: 4.00mm, if I remember correctly

One foot to go on this chicken.

And the WIP pile has the guitar blanket, a bernat Velvet pillow, the monstera Tote in Ribblr, a wall hammock, and don’t remember the rest. :flushed::flushed:

Starting out a new WIP today!:heart_eyes::heart_eyes: getting ready to swatch one of the colorwork charts to check my gauge is on point so I can cast on a stranded colorwork sweater that I am testing :tada::scream::flushed::heart_eyes:

Working on a granny shrug! This square was actually started by my grandmother & the WIP was passed onto me, and I’ve slowly been adding to it.

So my WIP is trying to turn these into patterns! I free style ideas and then try to figure out what I did and how to translate it into patterns… I have several requests for these to be in a pattern but it’s taking a while to figure it out. I will have to record me making them and then write down each stitch as i rewatch it… I have made several but no 2 are exactly alike! Does anyone else do this?

I have heard several Youtube makers recommend Ribblr for writing and following patterns so I came to check it out! Now I am hooked! I love the ability to check of each row while following a pattern (otherwise I lose my place and repeat random rows in places they are not suppose to be :grimacing:  I also find it so much easier to write my patterns out and add photos and video clips! This is amazing… Now I just have to learn where everything is at and how to use it all! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: i definitely will make all my patterns here! I love the support of testers and community also! I will be showing my appreciation to my new friends & fellow ribblr makers in the days to come :+1:
These are a few I have lined up to write patterns for now. I will have more after these are completed. watch for them on ribblr as this is going to be my new design home! Will be posting for testers as I complete each one :ok_hand:

Today I’ve started a nice shawl and thinking about adding a second colour but I’m not sure if it fits
