Be honest.

How many WIPS have you ended up throwing away/frogging/giving away?
Myself, I’ve been crocheting for 16 years. Since I was forced to retire in 2020 I’ve been crocheting furiously for the last 6 years.
SOOOO,
I’ve probably gave about 30 something funerals for WIPS! This number doesn’t include the ones I still want to finish!

I was creating a tapestry butterfly cardigan. Started last year, gave up in March of this year. It’s so much work and I felt bad (like I was stealing the concept) after seeing a company which makes the butterfly cardigans from cloth or something (maybe knit or machine? Not 100% sure)
I started a winter version of my fox late autumn last year, but gave up after realizing that I needed to make Christmas gifts
it currently sits in my unfinished projects/reusable parts box with a lopsided sewn head
Here’s the autumn version
I kept trying to make a baby fox, but can never get the body right so I tossed away every half made fox.
And the no-sew bunny I made not too long ago… I didn’t like how it looked. I think it looks wonky and not cute so I trashed the idea (even though some fellow Ribblrs said they liked it
)
That’s honestly all I can think of right now
