I have so many wips and no motivation to finish them how many do you have ( this is to hopefully make me feel normal)

Well……. There are the two tapestries, where I ran out of some specific colours a few weeks ago (I ordered the yarn yesterday!), there is the new mushkin concept that I started instead of finishing my axolotl pattern (benches it to finish the pattern though, and now it’s starting testing!), there is the wedding gift that should have been done two months ago and then there is the box, where I dumped all my unfinished projects, when I tidied up my working space in the summer :D

It’s typical with most any crafting/art kind of thing for that to be the case, heh. You can try making goals for yourself to make progress, if you do X amt you can do/get Y, etc. Maybe rotate through them to keep from getting bored with the same one since you’re not feeling so into them atm.

I have a whole bin that is in my closet that I’m trying to hide from,lol.

I don’t really have any tips for no motivation. If I’m burnt out of crochet, I won’t crochet for like an entire week (or longer) and just move on to one of my other hobbies until I want to again. It seems to work for me, lol.

I also tbh, don’t really worry about my wips that much. I’ll get them done, when I need to get them done.:smiley:

I think with all the crafters with WIPs, we may be the normal ones. Anybody not have any?

Also, can we have a PIP catagory also? For Patterns in Progress. I just started another one today. So many now …

WIPs, I have so many. Although I just recently started a thread for accountability. Maybe we need a Space for that? I finished a few, and am working on another now. (also ready to start a new blanket for a grandson). Oh my.

I have no clue as to how many I have. Because a lot of them are in our very full storage locker and I have no idea which box, bag or container they are in. Plus the fact that I’ve crocheted over fifty some years and knitted over 40 years means that I’ve lost count
