Work in Progress: Crochet Mesh Sweater Comission

Hey y’all. I’m currently working on my first comission for a friend and I am really happy with how it’s turning out so far.

I am basing my garment on this pattern by mahum:
how to crochet a heart sweater (any size!) | beginner-friendly tutorial with free pattern

The only thing I am changing is I am making mine cropped and just solid colors for the back and front panel, with no heart design on the front. Here is my progress so far:

I like it! I recently got into making clothes and am about to finish my first cardigan. (Pattern by Passioknit Kelsey on Youtube, it’s a granny hexagon cardigan. If I ever finish it I’ll post a picture)

ooo fun! and yeah same, i literally NEVER make clothes from crochet. mostly little figures or plushies.

Hell y’all! Here’s my update on my mesh sweater I’m making for my friend.

Took me 4 hours total to complete, and that doesn’t include the time it took for me to frog my project and then restart because I didn’t count my stiches​. Mistakes happen…plus this is my only my second time making a item of clothing for someone.

Now after water blocking it, it’s in the process of drying.
