I think it would be nice if there was a pattern design/pattern suggestion space were we could make posts about what patterns people want to see from us or people could make posts saying they would like to see certain patterns! But idk…. It might not be a very good idea
Yeah! People won’t have to make a “what pattern should I make?” post anymore. It could be sorta chat-style or a checklist or smthn, cos posts of I WANT CAT and I WANT BRED would flood the topics.
I was thinking it could maybe be a huge checklist where people could put down pattern ideas then people could be like- ooh, that looks cool! And sort of “claim it”, yk? Then again, that would be a pretty big feature to add.
It wouldn’t be great, it would be AWESOME IDEAAAA: (now, I’ll talk a bit like @shrimpybrimpy ) OH MY GAWD, THAT WOULD BE SOOOO AWESOME IDEEAAA! YOU HAVE TO DO IT OR SOMETHIIIIING!(@shrimpybrimpy , don’t take it bad or rude, I love how you talk/comment)
Okay so what should I tell ribblr the purpose of this space is? And how should I organize it? And how should it be set up,(so in the general spaces pretty much anything counts as self-promo) but since this space is just centered around pattern design and recommendations should we make it so that asking people what patterns they want to see and pattern recommendations don’t count as self-promo? (For example, in the design studio when I say I’m offering pfps that doesn’t count as self promo in ribblrs eyes!) and if our stuff in the “pattern design/pattern suggestion/pattern interest” space posts count as self promo each one of us will only be able to make 1 post in it every week! (And that would be our only self-promo post for that week in all of ribblrs community!)
I can request a personal space! (Ribblr has its own thing for that so I need to message them and show them that people want this space, what its theme will be etc.
Once I message ribblr and we get the space set up we could make a wiki post (a post that everyone can add to) and everyone can add unique ideas and people can “claim” them!
