Yes but it depends on how fast I’m crocheting or how tightly my hand is gripping the crochet hook

Yeah, sometimes. When I crochet for a long time without stopping, my wrist feels weird and feels like I need to keep moving it till it goes back to normal.

You may be getting carpel tunnel syndrome, please give your wrist some time to relax :face_holding_back_tears:

@acpace98 Yes i get this, I would recommend taking a day or two of crochet (I crochet every day) and put smth warm on it then when you go back to crochet take your time, also how long do you crochet at a time

That is a sign of a nerve being pinched.

A carpal tunnel sheath refers to the synovial sheaths lining the flexor tendons within the rigid carpal tunnel of the wrist, allowing them to glide smoothly; when these sheaths swell or become irritated (often from overuse), it’s a key factor in Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS), compressing the median nerve and causing numbness, tingling, and pain in the hand.

Not really, but sometimes my pinky hurts. It’s weird.

I get that too! It mostly happens when I’m using a huge hook (25mm), but taking a break and putting something warm on it, then doing hand stretches (you can find some really good ones on YouTube) usually fixes the problem

YES especially when working with really thick yarn or when I’ve crocheted for a long time. It’s always good to take a break!
