Writing patterns

Hi, I’m a Ribblr newbie

I’ve added 2 patterns, but before I add more I thought I was asked the best way to do repeat rounds. If a pattern is round 3-5 the same instructions, do I add as I’ve just written or do a line for each line, so, round 3 with instructions, then on rounds 4 & 5 say repeat round 3.

Many thanks

if you type 3-5 in the rounds section, It automatically creates the multiple lines for the person using the pattern! I can provide screenshots to help show you!

Example:
If you type this into “6-11” in the rounds section

It automatically adds the rounds for you <<3

don’t do repeat round 3, as that might hinder the ‘flow’ of the pattern! instead, type 3-5 in the number of row 3!

Thank you, I did try viewing but thought it was worth asking for adding more patterns

Thank you  thats what I have done

Looking at your pictures, I don’t need to put row or round before the row number. I have put for example: round 9-11

If you haven’t considered already, you might want to consider doing some testers calls so that people call take a closer look at your patterns and give any feedback!

I didn’t think to do that as I’ve sold the patterns elsewhere for a while abd they were tested prior to selling them. I understood testing to be for new patterns but as I say I’m new on here.

Sometimes the Ribbuild system is different than just writing out a pattern elsewhere. Just a suggestion! Glad to see you here on Ribblr now!

I appreciate the suggestion as I would never of thought to do a tester call.

Tester calls are also for spelling mistakes. You could always ask only 1 person to look trough it just for spelling mistakes and missing letters.

Thank you  a good idea

Please add a line for each round so that baker can tick it done .

Yes this!! So maker can tick each round done!
