Written pattern help and suggestions

Hey everyone :smiling_face:

I’m just curious, I am going to have a pattern that I’ll need testers for soon and it got me thinking, what are some things that you wish written patterns did or didn’t have? Say for example more progress pictures or more sizing info etc, this is something I have thought of before when using a pattern and wondered what others think.

Also, apologies if I’ve put the wrong tags for this post, I am relatively new here

I’d say more progress pictures on trickier/ more complex things. I don’t know how many people worry about the size and stuff because it really depends on the yarn. I don’t get very detailed into that.

Yeah I agree with the more photos, I’m a very visual learner and it helps alot
