I am trying to use up some (a lot) of my excessive stash of bulky yarn. (I know, tough problem to have. 
) But, I want to use it wisely. So I did a search for the stitches that use the most yarn and found this video. Maybe you could recreate it with your favorite stitches. Screenshot also with the results of those tested. Thought it might be useful for you(s) also.

It kind of surprised me too but I guess it shouldn’t have. It would make a solid blanket where a triple crochet would make a pretty holey one. I think I’m most excited about the c2c.

single crochet uses sooo much i made a single crochet sweater for my sister and it used 4 300yard skiens, but i did a different sweater with double crochet and i only needed 3 300 yards
