Yarn for bags

Hello everyone,

I wanna ask, do you know what is the best yarn to make bags?

I want a sturdy yarn but I do not really know which to choose as I have never done a bag

I typically use cotton yarns. I prefer them because they are sturdy, eco-friendly, but also if I use the bag regularly, the yarn doesn’t get pilly or fuzzy if it gets wet (yay for spontaneous rain!)

I agree with @crochetingsavvy! Cotton yarns are best for making bags, t-shirt yarn is very sturdy and a great yarn to get started making bags
