bernat baby blanket is great, honestly it’s my go to. they’re baby pink, lilac, and buttercup are all super cute for makes. and if you want multicolor they have a really cute white, pink, blue, and yellow

If you’re planning on making plushies then I would go for Bernat Blanket or big twist plush or a different big twist yarn at Joann or if you’re at Michael’s then sweet snuggle lite/ chenille home slim is my go to yarn
I would go for a blue or purple a sea creature in one of those colors would be cute
