This is my current space for yarn, and as you can see it’s almost full (top is plush yarn, bottom is acrylic) and I’ve been thinking about making a different storage space in my room, thats not in the way as much
Any ideas?

Same except my chest dates back to the period of the Titanic. 
maybe make like a net to hang from the ceiling to fill with more yarn? i used to have one for stuffed animals that worked pretty well

I just use a vaccum sealed bag with my least used yarn in with another two plastic boxes underneath my bed- hopefully this helps

You could! I personally just got one from five below, either way the hammock is my favorite way to store yarn :>
I’ll definitely think on it then, all my yarn is just in an overflowing little cube
I use two nets from my ceiling plus two fabric bins
