So… I have a lot of yarn and my mom says I need to figure out a better way to store it so I’m looking for people with pictures of just how they store their yarn because I need help right now lol!
I would show a picture of mine, but we are not at home currently once I get home. I will edit this and add a picture of how I store mine.

I’ve got two of those door hanging shoe organizer thingys… They fit one skein each of posh yarn.

Hang up an over the door mesh storage bag and put yarn in there.
Put yarn in flat boxes and store under your bed.
Make a hammock and put yarn on there in the corners of your room.
I took hanks of yarn, strung them onto a rope, and hung it along the wall like a pennant/bunting.
Get cube storage with bins and store in there.
Put yarn in laundry hamper, or baskets, and place them around your room.
Anything that has room underneath, like a table, store the baskets under there. Or put small baskets on a shelf on your wall.
Get a pegboard from Home Depot to put on the wall, get round dowels that fit into pegboard holes, cut about 4-5 inches sections, and hang up your cakes of yarn on the pegboard.
I have personally used all of the above suggestions.
I like the pegboard the best.

If you have room in your closet then hanging shoe/clothing organizers are fantastic! That’s what I use! They’re also relatively cheap as well. You can find them at just about any dollar store, 5-below, Wal-Mart, Amazon so they’re fairly accessible. I have 2, one for specialty yarns, and one for the yarn I primarily use.
bonus, is you can get some that have pockets on the side so you can store your accessories and hooks as well, or if they are small enough even some wips could fit in the pockets as well.
