yarn suggestions

hi everyone! :sparkles:

i have a lot of yarn, but restocking can be difficult. my problem is that most yarn i want is always either super pricey or doesn’t have the color i want.

what sort of yarns do you use, and about how much are they?

I use bernat baby blanket from amazon or michaels. I also use teddy bear yarn from etsy! Big color selection and not as pricey!

For acrylics, I use Big Twist Value, Craft Smart, or Impeccable yarns (#4 worsted) They usually range from $4-7 where I am, but I try to get them on sale.
Theres so many pretty colors!

For blanket yarns I usually go for Bernat Blanket, or Sweet Snuggles Lite (#6 super bulky) usually anywhere from $8-12. Also a ton of pretty colors! Perfect for amigurumi!

I also love using dk weight yarns, I use a variety of different ones.

I try to make sure I buy things on sale, clearance, or if I have coupons - (yarn is PRICEY)

Hope this helps!

I use a lot of dollar tree yarn, it’s honestly so good. The worsted is so nice to hold and so pleasant to work with, unlike some other worsted yarns I have that costed much more. The just chenille is usually what I go for, it gives such a cute look and is awesome aswell! For a dollar its a really good amount of yarn too! I’ll put a picure of of something I’ve made with each type

Here’s this really cute panda by Hunnicrochet that I tested with the chenille

Here’s this awesome tatsugiri by Haniscrochet that I made with the worsted

I love the yarns from Hobbii, they have really good quality and aren’t too expensive. Plus there is always a sale going on!
