If your yarn is too short to weave in, thread the needle into fabric, then insert yarn into eye, pull needle through.

What about when the end is really frayed and hard to stick through from that angle? (We’ve all been there, right?) Yeah, I do this- though I wouldn’t wish it on anyone!
Hmm, cool! I don’t suppose they’d be that much easier to lose than the needles themselves. . .
Well, I consistently keep them on the windowsill by where I crochet. I do that with most of my crochet stuff, keep the hooks in a heavy jar, keep stitch markers in a covered box, keep needles in needle cushion, keep measuring tape in covered box, keep Voltaren Gel in another vase with my reading glasses,
You get the picture, and when I’m done with it I put it right back where it belongs. Saved me so much frustration and wasting time.
When I am in my sweet spot with crocheting I don’t want to bother with finding stuff.
