So, this is my first post, and I need some help! I have been trying out different chenille yarns for a while, such as Bernat Blanket, Mainstays Cozy Chenille, Sweet Snuggles Lite, and the most recommended, Premier Parfait Chunky. However, none of these yarns seem to be sticking. Bernat blanket is just too solid, Mainstays isn’t as soft as I hoped it would be, sweet snuggles lite kinda sheds way to much, and Premier parfait chunky is just really small. I have wanted to try Premier Parfait Plush, but I’m just looking for Chenille yarns that are between sizes 6 and 7, kinda velvety, and pretty soft, with medium or minimal to no shedding. Any suggestions?

Demi Purl by Michaels is Size 6, doesn’t shed, and neither does Posh Purl by Michaels. I’m using Demi Purl now, and I don’t really get the difference between it and Posh Purl. Demi Purl is definitely solid though, and also is basically the same as Bernat blanket, even though they market it as smaller. (It’s not, it said use a 6.5 mm hook and I’m using an 8 mm because it’s so thick.)

I agree and add Michaels Loops & Threads Chenille Home (this one is a size 7 Jumbo) and their Chenille Home Slim
And if you haven’t already Hobby Lobby’s Yarn bee has some amazing textures and the Baby Bee is my favorite Chenille
If you do hobby lobby just remember every other week the yarn is 30% off, never buy it at hobby lobby full price unless it’s time sensitive

I don’t support Hobby Lobby so idk about their yarn, but I don’t think Michael’s makes chenille home anymore, I think it’s called skinny chenille or just chenille.

Skinny chenille is thinner then chenille slim, you can still get the slim if you buy it in a 12 pack, and the chenille home size 7 was available in the app last night, but I think they are transitioning a lot of the names to make room/combine the Joann yarns
