Yh ik , invented by me by being too lazy to get up and use a stitch marker and picking up scrap yarn right next to me instead lol

Ahhh yes I didn’t even know st markers existed until like last year or the year before… I thought everyone used scrap yarn

Until you lose your favorite hook, needle, ā€œstitch markerā€, search all over, then find it was right next to you all along:rofl:

Your not a real crocheter untill you have either a couple bins FULL to the brim of crochet wips.

Or

You have more than one project you had to repair after your pet (aka a dog) decides to eat the safety eyes. And rips the fabric.

Stitch markers too

You’re not a real crocheter unless you spend FOREVER in the yarn section trying to decide between skeins…

You’re not a real crocheter unless you realize you made a mistake 3 rows back and have to unravel everything

I have done this! I have traveled into the next room with yarn around my foot…

Not even my hair sometimes! I have a couple skeins from a sheep farm with hair and grass and stuff in it! I guess its just a side affect of good yarn :woman_shrugging:

That’s so sad :sob: mine is when I chose a specific color combo and realized my second color (red) was not gunna work unless I unraveled it some, to use half the strand, it only added another hour and a half to that project, but he turned out super cute

Especially two skeins that - to the untrained non-crocheter eye - look the same

I do this with at least two out of three of mine, especially when I have no idea which row it was in

ooooh wow i could never have imagined anything like that lol  :sweat_droplets:

prob for me would be over or underestimating how much yarn i need for a project… when i overestimate, i am left with a whole new stash of that one yarn that i may never even use again :sob: :anxious_face_with_sweat: when i underestimate, what spices things up that it’s a gift and it has a due date, i dont have enough yarn, we have to travel across ā€œtime zonesā€ and spend more on gas than on that one skein of yarn :woman_facepalming: whyyyy?? :cherry_blossom: :peach:

You’re not a real crocheter until you’ve frogged parts of your project for the nth time because you’re unable to count to 30.
