10mm hook

I bought a 10mm hook for a ribbon crochet bag I made, but I was wondering if yall have ideas of other things I can make. I was thinking I could try and make a mesh type texture sweater or something? I don’t have any chunky yarn lol

A rug? You can use 1" strips of fabric.

Or you can triple or quadruple regular yarn to make it chunky.

I feel like that’s gonna waste a lot of yarn and I don’t have that much fabric :sob:

Baskets or bowls?

I only have medium weight acrylic yarn & was hoping I could just make something with that. I don’t have chunky yarn

You could make a mesh bottle bag? It doesn’t use that much yarn compared to a sweater.

I would make very drapy panels for sweaters and cardigans with an oversized hook  I like the look of it

That’s what I was thinking!

Grocery sacks work great for mats, and market bags, you can use up a lot of grocery sacks when making the yarn.

You could do something like this. This pattern is free and it uses a 10 mm hook.

Hold 2 strands of yarn together to act as a chunky yarn!

anything mesh is perfect for bigger hooks! a mesh bag (you could use multiple colours in one strand), mesh shrugs, mesh scarf (probably more for the looks than the warmth tho) and maybe this pattern FREE Crochet Mesh Top: Crochet pattern | Ribblr?
