Thank you for keeping this a good place for designers. I believe in real creators and the work they put into their creations. AI is becoming overly common in spaces where it doesn’t belong.

Love you saying a statement!! It really means a lot. It’s frustrating seeing an incline in generative ai.. especially in creative spaces. Wouldn’t like to see my favorite app joining hands with the devil so I’m relieved

this app has seriously changed my life! Ive branched out in meeting others and expanded my crochet skills within 20 days of starting. I’ve even gotten 3 patterns out and I’m working on a fourth! i hope ai doesnt take over.

also, artificial intelligence isn’t the problem, it’s natural stupidity.

how’s that, world famous old philoshophists or whatever

Fairly new to crochet, im taking a stab at writting my own patterns, I honestly enjoy taking an AI picture and turning it into a workable pattern. Doesn’t look exact but close enough. But it is so annoying to find a pattern and start working on it only for it to be nothing like the picture. I love that this is a place to find real patterns.

So glad you are taking this stand!!! I agree 100%.
AI may have it’s uses, but I fear there is more negative than positive to all of it. :melting_face:
I’ll continue to follow Ribblr for the great patterns and fun activities put out by REAL people! :hugs:
