Did you hear the news?
Lincraft are closing their doors after 80 years.
Stores won’t close immediately but will be closed progressively over the next few months.
It appears they’re going to transition to an online store only.
I don’t know about you, but I prefer to go in store to buy yarn.
I haven’t shopped at Lincraft since they closed my local store years ago.
Will these store closures impact you?

I don’t have Lincraft stores where I’m at, but I’m sorry they’re closing. I know what you mean about preferring to go in store to get yarn

I also prefer to buy my yarn in-store. I’m not surprised that they’re closing their physical stores since they’ve been dropping in quality (at least for cotton yarn which is what I mostly use) and maintaining high prices, but it’s still sad. I think the biggest worry is that Spotlight won’t have a big enough competitor now to keep them in check. They’re currently higher quality with lower prices in my opinion, but monopolies usually lead to bad outcomes for consumers.
