Hey guys! Back with another art haul. These are some random color pencil art pieces I did when I was like 11 or 12 I lwky forgot. (Except for the last one, I was 13 I thinkkkkkkkkkk oh jeez I’m getting old)

My art teacher is forced me to do sketch and then painting because color pencil doesn’t win competitions so like D:

My secret is my eraser lol- I use it to blend. Well technically I would attempt to blend, erase, color, repeat, and at some point it would blend lol

Enter these in your local fair and state fair if you can. Those should have a colored pencil or sketch category even. These are absolutely phenomenal and even if your art teacher has other plans and wants you to paint, these colored pencil pieces are definitely competition worthy. Something to consider. You have already done the work.
They are typically free to enter your work, you display for others to see and get to be an inspiration to others, and people might even see your name and want to commission a piece or connect with you for future work or scholarships. Who knows. I have a youth group student that got a partial (it may have been full not sure but partial for sure another student was partial for sure too) art scholarship after winning several years best in show for state.
Even without best in show, winning 1st, 2nd, or 3rd usually also comes with prize money too.
Your work is really good and I think it will excel in competition.
